Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead environmental contributions for nuclear projects, including bidding, project team management, project delivery and financial management.
  • •Provide environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues, promoting sustainable design and environmental enhancement.
  • •Manage large, complex projects, ensuring technical quality, commercial performance and health and safety compliance.
  • •Build strong client relationships, identify opportunities to support project strategy, resourcing and delivery.
  • •Undertake business development activities, including preparing proposals, bids and framework opportunities, to secure new work.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant environmental or planning degree (or equivalent experience), with chartered status or actively working towards chartership.
  • •Demonstrable experience in delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for nuclear projects, including under UK planning regimes such as the Town and Country Planning Act, EIADR and the Planning Act 2008.
  • •Familiarity with consenting processes for nuclear projects, including Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) and Environmental Permit applications.
  • •Capable of leading client communications and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, regulators and the public; strong report writing and quality assurance.
  • •Proven line management experience and track record of developing internal teams.
