Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry the welder qualification card on site and attend TBSM and TBQM on time
  • •Ensure a valid WPS is available for joints to be welded and comply with it
  • •Survey the surrounding area and take actions to minimize risk of fire, explosion, or injury from welding
  • •Inspect welding equipment for safe condition, handle welding tools/equipment properly, and route cables and hoses safely
  • •Visually inspect complete welds, report non-conformance or damage to the foreman, complete rectification work, and fill required records (welder ID/Stamp, WPS, preheat, and completion date)
