Job Summary

Join our MRO Commercial Engine Center as an Assembly and Test Inspector on second shift. You will perform functional checks on engine assemblies and components, conduct dimensional and visual inspections from engineering drawings, use fixed/variable measuring tools, and determine conformance while supporting continuous improvement in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components
•Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques
•Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings to plan and perform inspections
•Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings
•Use fixed and variable measuring instruments including automated measuring machines and document results

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or GED
•2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing
•Experience working from complicated drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions to fabricate, configure, install, remove/replace and set up equipment
