Job Summary

Lead and inspire engineering teams across Pernod Ricard gin distilleries by coordinating maintenance and engineering activities. Own the planned preventative maintenance and asset reliability approach, oversee corrective maintenance and shutdown programs, and ensure strong safety, compliance, and permits-to-work governance. Manage engineering revenue and capital budgets and help deliver £1m–£5m projects while improving plant reliability, availability, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Support, coach, and develop engineering teams across gin distilleries while fostering a safety and continuous improvement culture.
•Implement and maintain planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and asset management systems to improve reliability and availability.
•Coordinate corrective maintenance, repairs, overhauls, equipment modifications, and replacement programmes.
•Ensure safety, compliance, and governance including legal compliance, health & safety, food safety, site security, environmental requirements, and permits to work.
•Prepare and manage engineering revenue/capital budgets and deliver capital projects (approximately £1m–£5m) in line with CDM and company standards.

Key Requirements

•Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (or equivalent professional experience/qualifications).

•Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
•Strong budget management and project delivery experience with knowledge of engineering, compliance, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
