Job Summary

Partner with TikTok engineering leadership to shape strategy for AI transformation, resource efficiency and planning, and frontier technology. Conduct industry and trend research focused on AI coding/developer productivity, track real-world AI implementations, and diagnose the R&D/engineering ecosystem using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Design organizational strategies and cross-functional plans, and lead special high-impact initiatives to drive actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and research global AI industry trends, especially AI coding/developer productivity, and provide strategic insights for R&D and engineering decisions.
•Track emerging AI technologies and implementations, analyze shifts in the AI coding landscape, and support management decisions balancing growth, R&D, and cost.
•Evaluate the R&D/engineering ecosystem using qualitative and quantitative analysis and develop/monitor metric frameworks to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
•Design organizational strategies and team structures for the AI coding initiative and align them across product, business, and engineering stakeholders.
•Serve as the primary strategic partner for relevant business units by leading analyses, coordinating complex initiatives, and driving execution of actionable strategies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above.
•Strong data analytical capabilities with proficiency in statistical and data analysis methodologies.
•Conceptual understanding of AI algorithms and core software development/coding principles.
•Exceptional structured thinking to identify and deconstruct complex problems and define solutions using data-driven insights and user empathy.
•Proven cross-functional communication, collaboration, and project management to drive cross-team execution.
