Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure costs are set up properly when new item codes are created or existing codes are extended.
  • •Review cost pricing and analyze variances; review production variances on a periodic basis and support factory cost analysis.
  • •Support month-end activities and prepare reports; assist with cost roll-up activities as required.
  • •Create and extend item codes in the MDG portal, maintain master data documentation, and monitor item code creation status and pending codes to be released for costing.
  • •Provide costing information to Operations/Sales as needed, resolve costing-related issues with the costing team, and support operations with cost estimation for new project launches.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 55,000 - 60,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •College Diploma in Accounting or equivalent experience (AEC or DEC in Quebec).
  • •Bilingual in French and English (French not required outside Quebec).
  • •3–5 years of relevant experience as a Jr. cost accountant and handling material data management (preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems, specifically SAP.
  • •Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot/solve problems.
