Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess semiconductor equipment training needs by gathering procedure and workflow knowledge from experts, maintaining technical product knowledge to prepare and present defined courses.
  • •Develop and deliver NPI training for internal teams and customer sites, coordinating structured factory OJT and managing classroom/lab activities to meet course objectives.
  • •Communicate with product groups to obtain current product information, update courses, and direct multiple training-related projects with diverse scope and complexity.
  • •Lead NPI training development projects, including creating hardware training student guides using PowerPoint/Word and revising instructional materials for review and final copy.
  • •Maintain safe training environments and provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for system repairs and preventive maintenance; mentor other instructors and help resolve customer satisfaction issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or training, plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience across installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair (or 6 years if no Bachelor’s degree).
  • •Hands-on semiconductor equipment knowledge including preventive and corrective maintenance, alignments, calibrations, and system-level troubleshooting for analog/digital electronics.
  • •Experience with training/presentation delivery to external customers (2 years desirable and required to attain FKA instructional developer within the first year).
  • •Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
  • •Comfort using tools and software such as Microsoft Office and Windows, plus familiarity with computer networking; nationally recognized instructional design certification is preferred.
