Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on surface equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, and hoists.
  • •Diagnose mechanical failures and perform timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
  • •Maintain detailed maintenance records and report on equipment status and repair activities.
  • •Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop maintenance schedules and improve equipment reliability.
  • •Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements, operating tools and supporting installation and commissioning of new surface equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Proven experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in an industrial or mining setting.
  • •Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to work in various weather conditions.
