Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with R&D technical department leads to support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance reporting.
  • •Own detailed R&D forecasts and budgets and translate evolving business needs into planning outputs.
  • •Build and maintain financial models that turn complex operational and technical inputs into clear financial results, and create new models/frameworks as initiatives change.
  • •Manage operational finance by tracking actuals vs. forecast, investigating variances, updating assumptions, and improving forecast accuracy.
  • •Improve budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting workflows, including rollout and optimization of planning systems and ongoing AI-forward automation.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Operations, Business Finance, or a related finance role in a startup/high-growth environment.
  • •Experience partnering with technical or operational teams (e.g., R&D, Engineering, Product, Data/AI-ML) and translating priorities into financial requirements.
  • •Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience building models from the ground up.
  • •Own detailed budgets and forecasts, analyze actuals vs. plan, investigate variances, and maintain forecast accuracy in a fast-changing environment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to improve finance processes using AI to automate workflows and generate actionable insights.
