Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide broad, on-site supervision of the LWD process, including tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, and QC.
  • •Ensure customer data is accurate, timely, and meets the highest service quality standard, including communicating expected data and potential problems.
  • •Deliver technical consultation on mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, mud system, and BHA dynamics.
  • •Properly test tools and equipment before, during, and after each job; identify and correct operational problems to minimize service impact.
  • •Complete required forms, databases, and reports (e.g., service vouchers, radiation site survey, EJCS, FAD/CPI) and prepare daily LWD reports for onsite/offsite teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two years of field experience in LWD, with completion of basic M/LWD training.
  • •Successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements, demonstrating technical aptitude to required standards.
  • •Read and interpret formation well logs and interpret directional survey information and other well site data.
  • •Possess relevant onshore/offshore safety certificates.
  • •Good communication, arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills; a STEM bachelor’s degree is preferred.
