Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the product development team (including ODM/OEM suppliers) follows the Philips V-model process for safe and reliable field performance.
  • •Coordinate system integration during design development and define the product verification strategy.
  • •Translate business and user requirements into product requirements and develop system testing and verification activities.
  • •Develop and follow up on product design DFMEA feeding into element design FMEAs.
  • •Set up and use the database to document Philips V-model outputs and communicate V-model maturity to management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Information Engineering.
  • •5+ years’ experience in a product development environment.
  • •End-to-end exposure to Systems Engineering activities across the product development lifecycle (concept to release).
  • •Experience planning and executing system integration and system verification, including development of testing and verification activities.
  • •Awareness of regulated-industry requirements (medical devices desirable) including FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485.
