Job Summary

Own the Product Compliance & Risk team’s support for designing, developing, and deploying KYC controls for Wise’s global customers. Partner with product teams to improve control effectiveness using data, implement ongoing testing, and deliver compliant, scalable MVPs quickly. Lead remediation for existing products, define project plans for audit/third-party findings, and perform periodic reviews aligned to changing regulations and industry guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Own support for the design, development, and deployment of KYC controls for Wise’s global customers.
•Identify and drive enhancements that improve customer experience, enable growth, and improve operational processes.
•Use data to define control effectiveness and support an ongoing testing program.
•Work with product teams to implement and prioritise control improvements, creating efficiencies while strengthening the program.
•Define project plans and facilitate implementation of improvements identified via audits or third parties, and perform periodic reviews aligned to changing regulations and industry guidance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 68,000 - 92,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum 7 years of AML experience with a focus on KYC controls and advisory.
•CAMS, ICA, or equivalent certification is desirable.
•Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop KYC and/or financial crime controls.
•Experience automating financial crime controls.
•Strong data analytics skills, plus clear communication, project coordination, and management skills.
