Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end planning lifecycle for Starship sub-assemblies or finished goods, including BOM requirements, supply coverage, and configuration management to satisfy the engine production plan.
  • •Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement to align on cost, design changes, and supplier production plans for scalable configurations and rates.
  • •Apply risk management to balance cost, reliability, and production rate in a dynamic environment and make informed trade-offs.
  • •Manage the supply schedule for raw materials and finished goods to optimize days on hand, inventory turns, and obsolescence, ensuring full-rate production while avoiding excess inventory.
  • •Develop and communicate forecasts to internal/external stakeholders reflecting minimum requirements and potential changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Material or production planning, Operations or supply chain management, Material cost control, Master production scheduling or a related field.
  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in one of the same areas.
  • •Experience in high-volume industries and cross-functional NPI projects is preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of ERP systems, purchasing/planning functions, and data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • •Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and influence senior leadership.
