Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and scale next-generation FX platform services using the RFC process.
  • •Lead end-to-end delivery with Product and Operations from discovery through production rollout.
  • •Own the full lifecycle of what you build: design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • •Refactor and modernize legacy workflows to reduce technical debt and improve platform performance.
  • •Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and drive best practices in continuous integration and automated testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience building complex backend software systems, with Python as the primary stack (Java, C#, or Go OOP backgrounds welcome).
  • •Background in FinTech or regulated financial environments, with understanding of core accounting principles and multi-currency transactions.
  • •Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, monitoring/alerting, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • •Strong engineering standards including unit/integration testing and clean architecture practices.
  • •Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to maintain 24/7 service availability.
