Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end product development for Cut & Sew and Knitwear categories from design concept through bulk handoff.
  • •Partner with Design, Merchandising, Materials Management, and Technical Design to meet quality, costing, calendar, aesthetic, and material objectives.
  • •Manage seasonal development calendars and deliver Prototype, Line Opening, Fit, and SMS samples on schedule; coordinate development packages with sample facilities and vendors.
  • •Drive fabric development for Cut & Sew and yarn development for Knitwear, including sourcing, submissions, approvals, testing requirements, and seasonal commitments.
  • •Own costing and business management by creating seasonal costing charts, negotiating garment/fabric/yarn costs, maintaining Working Costs within PLM, and preparing development recaps and business analyses.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in apparel product development with expertise in Cut & Sew and/or Knitwear categories.
  • •Experience developing fabrics, yarns, and materials with mills and suppliers.
  • •Strong understanding of garment costing, fabric costing, and yarn costing.
  • •Knowledge of knitwear construction, yarn specifications, gauges, and development processes.
  • •Advanced PLM and BOM management experience, plus Excel and product development systems experience.
