Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reporting solutions supporting operational, underwriting, and strategic decision-making.
  • •Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting, analytics, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Develop scalable data models and semantic layers to ensure consistency, usability, and performance across reporting solutions.
  • •Design and manage data pipelines and transformation processes, monitoring ingestion and delivery workflows; automate manual processes using reporting/workflow/data solutions.
  • •Support data quality, reconciliations, governance, and documentation by maintaining understanding of data lineage, flows, and metric definitions.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a Senior Data Analyst (or similar) in a data-focused environment.
  • •Strong Power BI skills including data modelling (e.g., star schemas), semantic layer design, Power Query/M transformations, and DAX performance optimization.
  • •Proficient in SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, and performance tuning.
  • •Experience with Databricks (or similar) for building/maintaining data pipelines and scheduled jobs involving large/complex datasets.
  • •Good Excel skills, including experience with VBA to maintain or enhance existing tools.
