Guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using the data platform. Collaborate with the Solutions Consulting team and continuously improve solutions based on field feedback.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and architect scalable, performant applications, systems, and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB.
•Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies and communicate MongoDB’s business value to stakeholders.
•Collaborate with the sales team on account planning, opportunity qualification, pipeline generation, and technical aspects of the deal cycle (discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation).
•Proactively generate demand in the sales territory through technical initiatives and participation in industry events and account-based marketing.
•Foster customer success by building champions, mentoring Solutions Consulting team members, and relaying field feedback to the product team to improve solutions and processes.

Key Requirements

•5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally including customer-facing experience.
•At least 2 years of experience with modern scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional capacity.
•Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
•Ability to review complex application architectures with customers and recommend improvements using technology.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, plus strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
