Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the annual EH&S plan across EMEA, including regular audits of assets, offices, and facilities to identify compliance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • •Lead and promote environmental, health, and safety programs and procedures across EMEA to foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
  • •Ensure compliance with the CHS Global EH&S Policy, CHS Global Safety Standards, internal procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
  • •Oversee EH&S reporting and documentation, and monitor updates to legal and other applicable environmental protection and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • •Support accident/incident/near-miss investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions; verify EH&S implementation and effectiveness and ensure permits and regulatory approvals are maintained.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Agriculture/Agronomy, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • •4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • •Fluency in Romanian and English.
  • •Completion of an authorized Occupational Health and Safety course of at least 80 hours.
  • •Completion of a postgraduate Occupational Health and Safety program for risk assessment of at least 180 hours, or a master’s degree or PhD in Occupational Health and Safety.
