Key Responsibilities

•Work with product owners to gather and refine requirements for one product, leveraging existing tools and solutions across departments.
•Design moderately advanced architectures that are robust and scalable, including integrations across the internal technical ecosystem.
•Drive end-to-end delivery of new product features, while contributing to product quality improvements and valuable service technology.
•Provide domain expertise for user documentation development and implementation of standard documentation processes.
•Lead and grow engineering teams (6–9+ engineers), including recruiting, performance review cycles, mentorship, coaching, and development planning.

Key Requirements

•12+ years total software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in a direct people management role.
•8+ years relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree/PhD experience), or 11+ years relevant experience.
•Deep hands-on expertise in Java and distributed systems, including Spring, Hibernate, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
•Strong knowledge of distributed data patterns (CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga, eventual consistency) and distributed caching/streaming (e.g., Redis, Kafka).
•Experience building AI-first systems and integrating LLMs at scale, plus leading teams of 6–9 engineers across levels.
