Job Summary

Lead and coordinate all field operations for assigned framing projects, ensuring performance across cost, profit, quality, safety, and customer service. Manage and monitor subcontractors, coordinate daily with PMs, customers, and internal teams, review plans and shop drawings for compliance, and maintain organized, safe job sites. Own framing schedules, quality standards, required paperwork, reports, and communications as the primary onsite representative, with 100% Monday–Friday travel between Georgia and Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, evaluate performance, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
•Ensure coordination and installation of the entire project to meet contract obligations and code acceptance.
•Coordinate with PMs, subcontractors, customers, and other UFP facilities daily, and manage required paperwork.
•Perform safety and cleanup audits with a goal of continuous improvement and ensure a safe job site.
•Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings; develop framing schedules; establish quality standards and manage quality improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in the wood frame construction industry.
•Knowledge of lumber and engineered wood products and how they are assembled in hand frame and panelized buildings.
•Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and construction documents.
•Ability to delegate, manage multiple activities/projects, organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and prepare plans and budgets.
•Have or be able to acquire within 60 days: valid Driver’s License, valid Forklift Operator’s License, Medical First-Aid and CPR certificate.
