Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the Infrastructure DevOps team to support OS, middleware, database, and cloud technologies across projects.
  • •Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • •Manage database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans; support service resilience and recovery time objectives.
  • •Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and structures.
  • •Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and maintenance; document processes, configurations, and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
  • •DBA certification from Oracle, Microsoft, or other recognized vendors.
  • •Expertise in database technologies such as Oracle, MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB (or others).
  • •Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience with database security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery, plus an understanding of ITIL concepts for service operations.
