Key Responsibilities

  • •Commission, service, and perform fault finding on new and existing equipment.
  • •Carry out I/O tests on control equipment and perform electrical and mechanical fault finding.
  • •Run trials after completion to confirm performance rates and quality against specifications.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance service calls and handle emergency/warranty repair support.
  • •Document serviced equipment, parts used, and travel/site hours to support customer invoicing, and train customer maintenance personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed a recognised apprenticeship or reached a minimum level of technical training (e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, or degree).
  • •Strong working background in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • •High competence in electronic equipment testing and fault finding, including exposure to SCADA and PLCs.
  • •Ability to read schematic diagrams.
  • •A full driving licence and the ability to spend several nights away from home as required.
