Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize/validate HVAC equipment selection, including size, configuration, voltage, and options, based on project plans and specifications.
  • •Evaluate possible cost savings and/or cost problems across projects, including scoping validation and EQ/VPP dollar breaks.
  • •Support sales by developing preliminary and/or final submittals as required, coordinating job cost consensus meetings, and releasing submittals.
  • •Prepare equipment for order entry by verifying equipment pricing, revising coordination worksheets, and reconciling job costs.
  • •Provide technical support after an order is closed for equipment installation, including new equipment, start-up and warranty service, and controls equipment functions.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology (or related), plus minimum two (2) years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles.
  • •Alternatively, minimum five (5) years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles (or equivalent education/work combination).
  • •Ability to optimize/validate HVAC equipment selection by reviewing plans, specifications, original estimates, and proposals.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls (preferred).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
