Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and enhance distributed services including Kafka, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
  • •Develop and maintain distributed services across diverse environments such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Bare Metal.
  • •Build core software modules for streaming, messaging, and caching.
  • •Create observability modules, alerts, and automation for dashboard lifecycle management.
  • •Deploy, operate, and optimize Workday distributed services in production and participate in on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of software engineering experience using Java/Scala and/or Golang.
  • •4+ years of distributed systems experience.
  • •3+ years designing and operating large-scale deployments of distributed NoSQL and messaging systems (DevOps).
  • •1+ year leading a NoSQL technology-related product from conception through deployment and maintenance.
  • •Hands-on experience with distributed systems technologies such as Kafka/RabbitMQ, Redis, or Cassandra.
