Job Summary

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based internal medicine care for adult patients across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term/post-acute settings. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. Deliver preventative recommendations and patient education, respond to medical emergencies, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with organizational standards, patient safety, and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
•Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
•Manage complex chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disorders.
•Provide specialized care across rehabilitation, long-term care, and post-acute settings while coordinating multidisciplinary care.
•Review diagnostic tests, participate in clinical meetings, maintain documentation, and respond to medical emergencies and governance activities.

Key Requirements

•Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
•Completion of a recognized residency training program in Internal Medicine.
•Specialist qualification recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
•Eligibility for or possession of a valid DOH License as Specialist Internal Medicine.
•3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Internal Medicine with strong chronic disease management experience.
