Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with relevant local authorities (roads, utilities, planning) and maintain relationships to support project approvals.
  • •Clarify authorities’ requirements to design teams, ensuring document completeness prior to submission.
  • •Conduct design reviews with authorities for non-complex designs and ensure deliverables adhere to authority requirements at each design stage.
  • •Relay authorities’ comments to design/design support teams and ensure incorporation into subsequent design submittals.
  • •Submit and discuss deliverables (and design changes when needed) to obtain NOC/approvals for construction commencement, resolving discrepancies and escalating as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • •3+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning industry in a top-tier regional/multinational engineering consultancy firm, with roles in design or authorities coordination.
  • •In-depth knowledge of engineering standards and codes.
  • •Knowledge of local authorities’ regulations, codes, and guidelines.
  • •Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic, with good communication, organization, and planning skills.
