High School Counselor

Provide comprehensive school counseling for students at Arkansas Virtual Academy, supporting academic success, social-emotional development, and college/career readiness. Conduct quarterly caseload meetings to review graduation plans, advise postsecondary options, and help with course placement and AP recommendations. Use student transcripts and assessment data to build data-driven intervention plans, provide short-term counseling and referrals, and collaborate with teachers, families, and students through IEP-focused meetings. Remote role with occasional travel for professional development and testing.
