Job Summary

Build and lead the technical recruiting function that supports Snorkel’s next stage of growth. Own recruiting strategy, workforce planning, sourcing, candidate experience, closing, and capacity planning across Engineering, Research, Product, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Applied AI Engineering. Scale a high-performing team of technical recruiters and sourcers, partner with technical leaders to translate priorities into hiring plans, and use recruiting data and metrics to remove bottlenecks and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and scale the technical recruiting function across Engineering, Research, Product, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Applied AI Engineering.
•Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team of technical recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting leaders.
•Own technical recruiting strategy, including workforce planning, pipeline development, sourcing, candidate experience, closing strategy, and capacity planning.
•Partner with Engineering, Research, Product, and other technical leaders to translate business priorities into actionable hiring plans.
•Create a recruiting operating model balancing speed, quality, rigor, and exceptional candidate experience; use data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive accountability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 300,000 annually

•Built and led technical recruiting teams in hyper-growth startup environments, ideally scaling from ~100 to 1,000 employees.
•Deep experience recruiting for technical functions such as Engineering, Research, Product, Machine Learning, AI, Infrastructure, Data, or Applied AI.
•Strong knowledge of the Bay Area technical talent market and competitive AI/startup hiring landscape.
•Track record of building recruiting teams, developing recruiters, and creating scalable recruiting practices.
•Partnered directly with senior technical and business leaders on hiring strategy, prioritization, tradeoffs, and execution.
