Job Summary

Design, evaluate, and install manufacturing automation equipment to optimize the operational flow of TI’s products, working closely with Smart Manufacturing & Automation teams. Oversee installation, modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment supporting AMHS systems, AMRs/mobile platforms, and 6-axis robotic solutions. Analyze equipment performance and reliability, develop uptime/improvement programs, write preventative maintenance schedules, and provide technical support to repair and process engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate, select, and install equipment to automate the operational flow of TI products.
•Collaborate with Smart Manufacturing & Automation to align on sustainable global solutions for legacy operations.
•Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
•Monitor and act on equipment manufacturer notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
•Study equipment performance and reliability; establish uptime programs and preventative maintenance schedules; provide technical support to repair and process engineering organizations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related engineering field.
•Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with AMHS and/or mobile platforms and/or 6-axis robots.
•Preferred: Equipment experience with AMHS, AGV/AMR platforms, industrial and collaborative 6-axis arm robots, or wafer sorters.
•Preferred: Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with AMHS and/or mobile platforms and/or 6-axis robots.
•Preferred: Knowledge of coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML.
