Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and install equipment to automate the operational flow of TI products.
  • •Collaborate with Smart Manufacturing & Automation to align on sustainable global solutions for legacy operations.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Monitor and act on equipment manufacturer notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability; establish uptime programs and preventative maintenance schedules; provide technical support to repair and process engineering organizations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with AMHS and/or mobile platforms and/or 6-axis robots.
  • •Preferred: Equipment experience with AMHS, AGV/AMR platforms, industrial and collaborative 6-axis arm robots, or wafer sorters.
  • •Preferred: Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with AMHS and/or mobile platforms and/or 6-axis robots.
  • •Preferred: Knowledge of coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML.
