Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform structural analysis of externals and mechanical systems hardware through preliminary/detailed design, validation, certification, and support of manufacturing and operational service.
  • •Serve as structures subject-matter expert on multi-discipline integrated product teams to deliver design solutions balancing durability, performance, cost, and weight.
  • •Evaluate validation test coverage by monitoring instrumentation response, post-processing test data, and assessing data against program requirements.
  • •Bring expertise to in-service field investigations and coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
  • •Use Finite Element Analysis and classical methods for strength, stress/deflection, vibration, fatigue life, and damage tolerance; document and present analysis results to leaders and customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering.
  • •8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
  • •Structural engineering background with proficiency in Finite Element Analysis, ANSYS, Workbench, and classical analytical methods.
