Key Responsibilities

  • •Use security principles, concepts, technologies, and standards to perform field activities and apply research/analytics to diverse problems.
  • •Create and maintain formal documentation including reports, slide decks, and architecture diagrams.
  • •Lead and/or assist incident response, including evaluating event type/severity and analyzing packets, exploits, and vulnerabilities.
  • •Develop SIEM content (queries, dashboards, reports) in Splunk and support SOC engineering tasks such as tool integration, automation, scripting, testing, and evaluation.
  • •Handle client issues and incident/ticket processing using a ticketing system and standard operating procedures to meet SLA requirements, including shift reporting and turnover logs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (including computer science) or equivalent experience.
  • •2–4 years of SIEM or Splunk Enterprise Security experience.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Experience creating formal documentation such as reports, slide decks, and architecture diagrams.
  • •Root cause analysis, investigative problem solving, and customer service/support experience.
