Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop complete high-voltage power electronic system schemes for mining machinery, including topology selection for DC-DC converters, traction inverters, on-board chargers, and energy storage converters.
  • •Perform detailed hardware development: power device selection, main circuit PCB layout, magnetic component design, and thermal management engineering.
  • •Define electrical architecture for battery-electric drill rigs, including BMS control, high-voltage interlock protection, insulation monitoring, and thermal management logic.
  • •Collaborate with software teams to implement control algorithms via PLC/C coding and validate systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations.
  • •Develop and ensure compliance with high-voltage safety and EMC standards (including ISO 13849 functional safety), run testing and failure analyses, and drive root-cause resolution for field issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, New Energy Vehicle Engineering, or a related field.
  • •At least 3 years of hands-on hardware development experience with industrial converters, commercial vehicles, or construction/mining machinery power electronics.
  • •Deep knowledge of DC-DC converters, three-phase inverters, PMSM vector control, and battery management system (BMS) design.
  • •Strong understanding of high-voltage safety, EMC design, ISO 13849 functional safety, and FMEA methodologies.
  • •Proficiency in English (written and spoken) plus willingness/ability to travel to remote mining sites and conduct international business trips as needed.
