Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate the full turbofan supply chain from supplier selection and qualification through serial production, from materials through delivery of certified engines or prototypes.
  • •Select and qualify suppliers in defined countries and advise on material and raw material selection choices.
  • •Coordinate make/buy and supply chain strategy to ensure resilient delivery against the turbofan delivery plan.
  • •Coordinate manufacturing schedules and downstream plans for assembly and testing based on product and parts delivery timing.
  • •Assess and mitigate supply chain and production delivery risks (shortages, capacity bottlenecks, long-lead items, and cost overruns) and ensure compliance with laws, standards, Powertech processes, and export control rules.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years of experience in turbofan propulsion supply chain selection and qualification.
  • •Strong understanding of turbofan architectures, subsystems integration constraints, performance drivers, and technology interfaces.
  • •Experience with material selection/characteristics and manufacturing processes and their impact (lifetime, repeatability, flaw characterization, properties).
  • •Strong knowledge of aeroengine supply chain structure and key players in countries including Morocco, India, France, and Poland.
  • •Knowledge of AS9100, production systems, and industrial quality; experience in manufacturing and production, FAI, validation, and qualification.
