Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and improve project engineering and project management processes to support safe and reliable plant operation.
  • •Implement major plant modifications that improve safety, plant operation/efficiency, and resolve equipment reliability issues.
  • •Ensure project scope, quality requirements, procurement, implementation, and testing are performed in accordance with quality standards and approved documentation.
  • •Manage capital and O&M project budgets, providing routine status reports and forecast updates, including timely updates if safety, quality, scope, schedule, or cost KPIs are at risk.
  • •Manage a matrixed organization for site/contract engineering design and site maintenance/construction vendors; participate in INPO and industry project management forums.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (preferred) or High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • •5 to 10 years of nuclear power plant supervisory/management experience.
  • •3 to 5 years of project management experience.
  • •Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (recommended).
  • •Ability to lead and motivate project managers and manage conflict while interfacing with peers and major contract organizations.
