Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • •Own team execution through planning, prioritization, and on-time, high-quality delivery with clear ownership.
  • •Identify risks early, remove blockers, and manage trade-offs between speed, reliability, and technical debt.
  • •Provide technical oversight across system design, architecture, and scalability; promote best practices for code quality, testing, observability, and security.
  • •Partner closely with Product, DevOps, and ML to translate business and product goals into engineering execution plans and maintain alignment in a fully remote environment.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in software engineering, including at least 3 years in engineering management or a tech lead role.
  • •Strong backend experience (PHP, Python, Go, Rust or similar) with solid understanding of distributed systems.
  • •Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex technical projects end-to-end.
  • •Comfort discussing system design, APIs, performance, and scalability.
  • •Experience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and monitoring.
