Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from the press, stack and place on pallets; print pallet labels and ensure correct information from job docket and set-up sheet.
  • •Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for material handling and verify quality and accuracy of completed jobs; report problems immediately.
  • •Perform downtime and make-ready activities, including cleaning press areas, purging stacks, assisting with impression roller changes, and setting up/tearing down doctor blades and cylinders.
  • •Maintain OHSE compliance and use required PPE; properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials/waste and keep work areas safe and neat.
  • •As part of the press crew, support production goals and (if applicable) operate forklift equipment for loading/unloading, recycling materials, and completing required inspection paperwork.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and one to three years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform press and material handling tasks.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks involving standing, stooping, bending, reaching, balancing, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • •Comply with OHSE requirements, hazardous materials/waste handling procedures, and cGMP/HACCP and Chain of Custody requirements.
