Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform complex structural analyses (static and dynamic) using hand and computer calculations for aerospace components.
  • •Define, assess, and document repair designs for metallic, bonded metallic, and advanced composite aerospace structures.
  • •Develop repair instructions in coordination with regulatory authorities and prepare engineering reports for customer repairs and FAA approval.
  • •Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities across product lines and processes.
  • •Review technical documentation and analyses, provide technical feedback, and develop/improve methods, tools, databases, and automated workflows to increase efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with at least 3 years).
  • •Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Experience working with regulatory bodies (FAA, FAA ODA, EASA, DOA) on aircraft level 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 25 certification projects (PMA, STC).
  • •Experience performing static stress analysis using classical methods and finite element analysis, including metallic or advanced composite aerospace structures.
  • •Strong engineering analysis fundamentals (load paths, free body diagrams, structural sizing, failure modes) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
