Key Responsibilities

•Develop, maintain, and review Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool and fixture designs
•Guide production teams through process troubleshooting and incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP as part of cross-functional teams
•Disposition non-conforming material and support root-cause analysis with corrective actions
•Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and ergonomic risk, and to lower costs using CORE principles and data-driven decision making
•Engage in design development and/or transition to production; provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and the supply base

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,800 - 165,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
•Experience working in a manufacturing environment
•Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DFMA principles and methods; familiarity with Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL) and Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) and safety/ergonomic assessments
•Experience with technical drawing interpretation, GD&T, configuration management, and CAD tools (CREO/ProE) and/or simulation tools
•Active DoD security clearance – Secret or higher
