Key Responsibilities

•Learn the tools and processes to become a successful ESX/VMKernel engineer and participate in designing and developing validation techniques and algorithms for ESX managing virtual and real hardware.
•Collaborate with a technical lead and manager to set goals and grow in your career within ESX Core Platform Quality.
•Implement advanced test strategy and coverage for ESX vmkernel and userspace features with emphasis on scalability, performance, reliability, and support for new hardware technologies.
•Work with multiple engineering teams to architect, design, implement, and deliver test coverage for new products on the enterprise-class VCF virtualization platform.
•Take ownership of validation projects and progressively lead larger parts of projects as experience grows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 120,000 - 192,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years (MS) or 8+ years (BS) of relevant industry experience
•Strong kernel-level memory scheduling, memory management, and memory reclamation understanding
•Experience with OS virtualization solutions and hypervisors (ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM, XEN)
•Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix/Solaris/BSD-like kernel architectures
•Excellent Python and C programming skills and strong written/verbal communication
