Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the technical lead, advising the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager on architecture decisions, technical risk, trade-offs, and modernization priorities.
  • •Represent technical position in government management reviews and design reviews, translating technical risk into cost, schedule, and staffing considerations.
  • •Direct, mentor, and empower systems and infrastructure engineers to drive operational excellence and meet enterprise availability targets.
  • •Drive enterprise architectural design and health across VMware vSphere and vCenter, Windows services, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, networks, applications, and databases; support DIAMONDS, JADE, and DATS environments.
  • •Enforce security governance by ensuring DISA STIG compliance, maintaining POA&M and System Security Plan documentation, managing PKI/Active Directory/RSA authentication, and supporting zero-trust and C2C requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree or equivalent and 15+ years of related work experience.
  • •Must currently possess a Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.
  • •DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent) at time of hire.
  • •Proven experience serving as a technical lead/chief architect advising program or senior management on technical strategy, risk, and resourcing.
  • •Deep technical expertise in DISA STIG-compliant environments with strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and RMF/POA&M management.
