Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, and implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP solutions for enterprise customers, from analysis and roadmap through transition and operations.
  • •Conceive and implement sensitivity labels, data classification, encryption, RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME, and audit log retention.
  • •Build risk-based DLP lifecycles (policies, rules, operating processes, incident response) and integrate Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • •Gather and translate data protection and data protection program requirements into business cases, taxonomy, ownership/governance models, and rollout roadmaps.
  • •Lead workstreams, moderate customer workshops, create decision papers and concepts, and present results up to C-level.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP (3–4 years for Consultant; 7+ for Senior/Architect) in Microsoft security/compliance projects.
  • •Expertise with sensitivity labels, data classification (manual and automated), encryption, RMS templates, BYOK/DKE, OME, and audit log retention.
  • •Experience building risk-based DLP lifecycles including policies, rules, operating processes, and incident response; integration with Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • •Knowledge of governance and program work for data protection requirements, including business case, taxonomy, ownership/governance models, and rollout roadmaps.
  • •Relevant education (e.g., (business) informatics); C1+ German and English; customer-focused communication and workshop leadership.
