Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing (salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, deductions, time and attendance).
  • •Compute and audit taxable wage/paycheck calculations.
  • •Process payroll updates including new hires, terminations, promotions, pay rate changes, and bonus payouts.
  • •Manage incoming mail by researching agency tax notices and resolving outstanding requests.
  • •Support state tax filings and reporting for multiple entities, and provide payroll analysis summaries and accounts reconciliation for People and Finance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Human Resources or equivalent job experience.
  • •5+ years of experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll operations.
  • •Strong foundational knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing (taxable wages, leave pay, garnishments, benefits, retirement, gross-to-net).
  • •Experience with tax reconciliation and reporting, including solid knowledge of tax laws plus FLSA and wage-and-hour compliance.
  • •Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite; FPC or CPP is a plus.
