Lead Etched’s Platform mechanical and thermal engineering organization, owning mechanical architecture for next-generation high-power density ASIC systems. Drive liquid cooling and rack-level thermal management while defining team growth, hiring plans, and technical standards. Standardize CAD/PLM workflows on Siemens NX and scale simulation and CFD tools (Flowtherm, Ansys Icepak, MacroFlow) to link validation to hardware measurements and ensure datacenter-scale performance, manufacturability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Build, mentor, and scale a team of mechanical and thermal engineers, defining hiring plans and technical standards.
•Own server enclosure, module, and rack mechanical design optimized for high-power ASICs and advanced cooling approaches.
•Deploy and optimize Siemens NX for CAD/PLM workflows, including integrated libraries and release processes.
•Establish and scale simulation infrastructure (Flowtherm, Ansys Icepak, MacroFlow) and standardize validation workflows linking simulation to hardware measurements.
•Define test plans and oversee lab infrastructure for thermal performance, fluid integrity, and long-term reliability; partner with electrical and system validation teams.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience with Flowtherm, Ansys Icepak, and MacroFlow for CFD and rack-level thermal modeling.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
