Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively set appointments using approved marketing tools. Drive cross-selling, partner referrals, and customer experience goals while supporting teller transactions and platform staff responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and schedule periodic financial review appointments.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and participate in outside sales activities as directed.
•Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes and support opening/closing activities of the financial center or bank mart as directed.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
