Key Responsibilities

  • •Define overarching data architecture and ingestion/storage/access patterns, including separation of transactional and analytical systems.
  • •Conduct internal customer discovery across hardware, aerospace, finance, sales, and software teams to design backend data tools and platforms.
  • •Build enterprise analytics pipelines and modeling frameworks (dbt) that unify telemetry, supply chain, factory floor, and ERP data for reporting.
  • •Create unified logging and observability pipelines to collect, normalize, and query structured logs, traces, and hardware telemetry for monitoring and debugging.
  • •Establish data governance, RBAC, and schema evolution strategies to ensure security, data quality, and backward compatibility.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • •5+ years of professional software/data engineering experience focused on data infrastructure, data platforms, or backend engineering.
  • •Strong proficiency with Python and solid software design fundamentals.
  • •Proven experience implementing RBAC, data governance, and schema evolution/migration strategies in production.
  • •Deep database expertise in transactional relational databases (including PostgreSQL/OLTP) and analytical data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
