Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and interpret blueprint specifications, SRM’s, and shop orders to determine areas to be sealed and painted.
  • •Stir and mix materials, then apply cleaning solvents or other solutions to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • •Clean and roughen surfaces to be coated; apply paint primers, clear coat, sealants, or adhesives.
  • •Complete seal and water testing of components; install foam pockets, seal caps, Velcro, and small detail parts or sub-assemblies.
  • •Dispose of hazardous material, mask areas for application, and perform other duties as assigned while using required PPE and lifting up to 25 pounds.
