Key Requirements

  • •Meet one of the outlined education/experience pathways, such as an Associate’s in an engineering/technical discipline plus 3+ years First Solar technical experience, or 6+ years manufacturing technical experience.
  • •Or hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in an engineering/technical discipline (no experience required; technical experience preferred).
  • •Alternative qualifications using relevant certifications plus years of technical experience, including peer training/mentorship and basic data analysis.
  • •Understand and apply statistical data analysis, including DOE and Statistical Process Control (SPC), and structured problem solving (such as DMAIC).
  • •Demonstrate understanding of metrology/measurement best practices and strong oral/written communication skills, including the ability to write manufacturing documentation.
