Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct in-depth FX research across major currency pairs, monitoring macroeconomic indicators, central bank policy, and risk sentiment.
  • •Provide FX markets insights/commentaries and investment advisory services for Private Banking, Retail Banking, and Corporate Wealth Management.
  • •Assess and recommend FX investment products to meet customer needs.
  • •Deliver external and internal briefings on house views and FX investment strategy.
  • •Lead and support the team: manage output quality and performance, coach and counsel subordinates, and assist the department head with training and compliance/governance initiatives tied to CIO workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree with major in Finance (or relevant), with passes in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examinations; CFA is a plus.
  • •Experience in FX research and FX advisory service, with extensive knowledge of global markets/investment products and team management experience.
  • •Fulfilment of competency requirements to carry out relevant regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
  • •High customer-centric mindset focused on delivering exceptional service quality.
  • •Strong proficiency in written English and Chinese; fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English.
