Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for residents’ well-being by meeting physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • •Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • •Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safe care that conforms to standards, policies, and legislation.
  • •Provide clinical guidance to the care team and support best practice continually, including overseeing the unit alongside clinical duties.
  • •Administer and order medication, and complete clinical handovers and reporting, including enhanced responsibilities when working night shifts alone.

  • •Be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • •Have previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and following policies and standards.

  • •Have effective communication and reporting skills to complete clinical handovers.
