Job Summary

Join the nursing team at Norewood Lodge Bupa Care Home as a Bank Registered Nurse, supporting residents with person-centred care across Norewood Lodge and Elm View. You’ll take responsibility for residents’ well-being, complete assessments and individualised care plans, monitor safe practice against standards and legislation, and provide clinical guidance to the care team. You’ll also support CQC-related tasks while delivering excellent handovers and care.

Key Responsibilities

•Take responsibility for residents’ well-being by meeting physical, emotional, and social needs.
•Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
•Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safe care that conforms to standards, policies, and legislation.
•Provide clinical guidance to the care team and support best practice continually, including overseeing the unit alongside clinical duties.
•Administer and order medication, and complete clinical handovers and reporting, including enhanced responsibilities when working night shifts alone.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 18.41 - 21.48 hourly

Key Requirements

•Be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
•Have previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and following policies and standards.
•Be confident providing clinical guidance for care teams and supporting CQC tasks.

•Have effective communication and reporting skills to complete clinical handovers.
