Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the design and analysis of traction power distribution systems, including substations, overhead catenary systems (OCS), and third rail systems.
•Support the development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts.
•Perform calculations related to voltage drop, current flow, and power system performance.
•Assist in the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
•Conduct field inspections and site visits to gather data and observe construction activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22 - 27 hourly

Key Requirements

•Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least one year of study completed; current students or those continuing to Master’s programs are eligible
•Basic understanding of electrical power systems and circuit analysis; familiarity with AC/DC power concepts
•Strong interest in railway or transit systems; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team
•Valid driver’s license (may be required for site visits); familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is a plus
